Creating a new babblevoice account
You will need either an NHS Care Identity Service account or a gmail account to access babblevoice.
NHS Care Identity Service
If you have an NHS Care Identity account that you use to access NHS services through a smartcard or other authenticator, you can use this to create and sign in to a babblevoice account.
- From the babblevoice homepage, click the “Log-in” button in the navigation menu.
- When the login screen appears, click the “Log in with my Care Identity” button.
- You’ll be redirected to the NHS website, where you’ll need to sign in with your smartcard (or other authentication device).
- After you’ve authenticated, you’ll be redirected back to babblevoice and we’ll create a new account for you automatically, which you can sign in to with your NHS smartcard.
- Once you’re logged in to the babblevoice console, you’ll need to register an email address to your account. This can be any email address that you own. It doesn’t have to be an NHS email address.
- Click the “My Account” link in the top navigation menu.
- Enter an email address in the “Email address” field, then click “Update details” and follow the on-screen instructions to add and verify your email address.
Google Account
You can create and sign in to babblevoice with a Google account. You can use either an existing account or create a new one here.
- From the babblevoice homepage, click the “Log-in” button in the navigation menu.
- When the login screen appears, click the “Log in with Google” button.
- You’ll be redirected to Google, where you may need to sign in again and confirm that you want to share account details with babblevoice.
- You will then be redirected back to babblevoice. We’ll create a new babblevoice account for you automatically, which you can sign in to with your Google account.
- To confirm you’ve signed up correctly with your Google account, click the “My Account” link in the top navigation menu of the babblevoice console. You should see your Google email address in the “email address” field of the Account Details panel.
